About BettterMenu
We are a small software company working on digital menus for restaurants and food businesses across Europe.
Who We Are
BettterMenu OÜ was incorporated in Estonia in December 2025. We are two co-founders — one handling the business side, one handling engineering — and a small remote team. We are based between Berlin and Tallinn.
We started because we kept hearing the same complaint from restaurant owners: getting a digital menu online takes too long, costs too much, or requires hiring someone external. We thought there was a simpler way to do it.
Our first product, Avaara, is the answer to that problem. It is a tool where a business owner can take a photo of their existing paper menu and have a live, scannable digital version ready in minutes — with allergen information, translations, and a QR code included.
What We Build
We currently build and maintain one product: Avaara. We made a deliberate choice to stay focused on it rather than spreading thin across multiple tools.
Avaara handles the full journey from menu creation to live digital publication. Businesses create menus, manage them, and share them via QR code. Guests scan, read, and filter by dietary preference — with no app, no login, and no ads.
Billing for Avaara subscriptions is handled under the BettterMenu name. BettterMenu OÜ holds the trademark, IP rights, and all operational infrastructure for the product.

We use AI to make menu creation faster — specifically for reading and parsing existing menus from photographs and PDFs. But we do not treat AI as a product feature to advertise. We treat it as a tool behind the scenes.
On compliance: we built Avaara to the GDPR standard from the start. There are no tracking cookies or advertising pixels on the guest-facing menu pages. Allergen detection follows EU Regulation No 1169/2011. All billing runs through Mollie, a licensed European payment provider.
Our infrastructure runs on Google Cloud in EU data centre regions. Our engineering team operates across Germany and India, under formal data processing agreements and access controls.
Founders
Tushar handles business operations, partnerships, and client relationships. He is responsible for corporate structure, legal setup, and growth strategy across the German and European markets.
Abhigyan leads all technical development — from the platform architecture and AI integration to the guest-facing menu surfaces and the B2B vendor portal that powers Avaara.
